Snuggle time

Brandon loves to snuggle after nursing. I just love how his little legs curl up underneath him and he seems so content to just be held close to me.

1st bath

Brandon had his first sponge bath today. He didn't seem impressed with the whole process however I'm hoping that he'll grow to love bath time.

Happy Birthday to Brandon

Brandon William Payne was born today @ 8:08am!!! He shares his birthday with his cousin Melanie Payne, so happy birthday to her too.

I went into labor on Wednesday, the 21st @ 6:45 pm (after working and going shopping at Costco with my mom). I had gone to my 39 weeks appointment (that morning) and was told I was still 2 cm dilated and that I would likely been seen in the office at 40 weeks, but to my surprise my water broke, contractions promptly started and after 12 hours of labor, 1 epidural, and 1 hour of pushing, Brandon was born. He weighed 8 pounds and 10 ounces, his length was 19 1/2 inches. I can't believe I have such a big baby!!!!

So starts the journey of our family.
