'Brandon has regularly started to "get up on all fours". This picture is a little blurry as Brandon was rocking back and forth. He's able to scoot to get the toys he wants and often turns in complete circles (which he is very good at).
We are planning a camping trip in early July, hopefully he won't be too mobile for that!

Weekend with Grandpa
On our way to Big Lake to visit with my grandparents, cousins, and their kids, we saw a baby elk. Of course we had to stop and take a picture.
Brandon and Grandpa at camp. It was pretty chilly with the wind, so Brandon had on a few layers.
We toured around Reservation Lake in our jogging stroller. Brandon was Grandpa's good luck charm for fishing this day.
Brandon (and Kevin) with all of his cousins (Ally, Chloe, Ethan, and Sarah).
Brandon did so well with traveling to and from my Dad's house that we are planning a camping trip in July. I may be crazy to agree to 3 days of camping with a 6-month old but if nothing else it will be an adventure (and lucky for me, my Dad's house is just 1 and a 1/2 hours away from where we camp).

cereal time
This weekend we gave Brandon his first taste of rice cereal! He seems to have more interest in the spoon than the cereal, next time I'll have to give him his own spoon to hold. He made such a funny face, like what am I supposed to do with this? I'm pretty sure he actually swallowed some of it! We're getting all the use out of his bumbo seat while he still fits into it.

Scootin' along
It seems that Brandon has started to figure out how to "get around" without having to roll to where he wants to be. He can get his legs underneath himself but he doesn't always know what to do with his upper body, so sometimes he ends up just rolling over. When he really wants a toy that is out of reach he'll scoot to it, with some frustration. It won't be long until we are chasing him around the house. I'll just view it as another form of exercise.
We have been getting more use out of the jogging stroller as Brandon (and the dogs) like to go for walks around the neighborhood in the morning. And as we keep acquiring baby equipment we are fast realizing we have to be creative with storing everything. We may even need to up-grade to a new car before too long.
