I spent the past weekend at the Fairmont Resort in Scottsdale, AZ, celebrating Cathy's bachelorette party. It was a great weekend, spending a day at the spa and just relaxing in the pool. It was my first time (yes, after 19 months) without Brandon. I did miss him (and Kevin) like crazy but it was a much needed break.
Brandon had a cold and was a little fussy, but they did well together! He is getting such a "determined" attitude (most would probably call it stubborn), and is still fond of tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. He seems to be overly focused on candles, which he calls "sandles", always wanting to look at them (although they are never lit). I'm pretty sure the terrible two's have already started. His vocabulary is HUGE. He is constantly labeling household items and pictures in his books. He repeats everything and has surprised me with a few new words/phrases over the weekend ("so good").
Pregnancy update:
We are 34 weeks this Thursday!!!! All is well for baby and I, just getting larger! I am still having difficulty getting a good night's sleep, which doesn't help with the constant feeling of fatigue. I have been taking advantage of napping with Brandon (on our days off) and realize this luxury will so be over.

Coloring fun
Couldn't resist getting in the picture with Mommy.
Jake has found the torment to be less if he just gives in to Brandon. Brandon loves to chase and be chased by the dogs, too bad he doesn't realize that Jake is usually only chasing him because he is holding food.
It's taken weeks of redirection but I think Brandon finally understands the goal of coloring on paper (not the walls, couch, table, door, etc). I can't wait for more arts and craft projects.
The new way to eat raspberries...right from your fingers. We are slowly realizing that Brandon hates to sit in his highchair for meals....it is a battle that he is starting to win. Maybe he would be happy sitting at the table on a booster seat???
"Nama" found the cutest chair at Ikea...just his size.

Toddler fun
Brandon is getting in two more molars....poor kiddo, being a toddler is such hard work. He is definitely testing his limits and boundaries. He is quite fond of climbing onto the tables and getting into things he has been told not to. He is still obsessed with the vacuum and it's attachments. His vocabulary is still expanding by the day and he loves to be outside. He is still waking up early most days but is still taking a couple hour nap in the afternoon (thank goodness)! His appetite has picked up but he can be quite picky at meals.
Pregnancy update: We are both doing well, getting larger and larger (although we keep forgetting to take a picture). I am still working full time at the hospital however declined a more permanent position with the Bariatric office (so I am down to one job again, which gives me an extra day off with Brandon). We still need a few items for the baby/baby's room however are mostly ready for this little guy to arrive.
