Kids Hike #2

Brandon is becoming quite the little hiker. He loves to look around and take it all in, no sleeping on this hike. He spent a long time "feeling" the tree we sat next to during our snack break. We even saw another couple who had the same back pack as us.
On the Butterfly Peak, Mt.Lemmon.

Grandma and Easton on Butterfly Peak. It was a warm day but luckily much of the trail was in the shade. Easton (our nephew) has so much energy and really likes to be outdoors. I think we have ourselves another hunter....

7 months

Happy 7 months old!!!! Brandon still loves to hang out with his monkey. He is still keeping us on our toes, as he has started to "cruise" along the furniture and is starting to figure out how to get down from a standing position (besides falling over).
Our second week at daycare was much better, everybody is finding their routine and adapting.

More teeth

Brandon (Kevin and I) have all survived our first couple weeks at daycare. It was a little rough the first week (especially stressful for mommy) but Ms Catherine and Brandon seem to be figuring each other out. Another "right of passage of a working mother".

Brandon's first tooth is offically through the gums (which happened about a week ago) and we are working on the second bottom front tooth. Those little teeth are sharp....I have been trying to get a picture but he's not very cooperative.

Brandon is doing well with picking up finger foods, he has really figured out the pincher grasp. It's so cute, sometimes the food never makes it into his mouth, just gets stuck to his face or lost in his palm. Lately he seems less interested in eating meals (which we think is related to his teething and that he has been a bit congested).

Patagonia Lake

We had another fun Rick Engineering outing at Patagonia Lake this weekend. It was so beautiful there, still on the warm side but everyone seemed to have a good time. We are hoping to visit the lake again this fall.
Grandma Diane, Great-Grandma Anne, Uncle Brian, and cousin Easton all came as well.
Brandon got a chance to wear his first pair of shoes for the special outing. They are so cute but totally not necessary at his age.

Standing tall

He no longer likes to sit in the bouncy seat but would rather stand next to it and play.
Brandon often stands at the back door and looks out, he really like to watch Kevin mow the lawn.

The Great Outdoors

Kevin and Brandon hiked with Diane (Grandma) and Easton (cousin) on Mt. Lemmon. Brandon had a great time in his new hiking backpack. This will be good exercise for Kevin with the upcoming hunt.
After a hard hike, it's always nice to take a little nap.
