15 month appt

Brandon had a rough time at his 15 month doctors appointment. He definitely does not like being naked on the scale or having any of the staff (including Dr. Gloudemans) too near him!!! I wonder if he knows he is going to get shots or if it's just stranger anxiety.
He has dropped weight curves (90%ile) and gained a curve for height (97%ile)! He is 28 pounds, 4 ounces and 34 inches tall!!!! Sooooo big.
His vocabulary has expanded beyond belief this past week. He is attempting to say his name, rooster, shoes, and a handful of other words.....

Baby Payne #2 update....I felt the baby move this past week. It is amazing to think I have this little human growing inside me (again)! T-17 days until the ultrasound. As my abdomen is getting bigger, it is becoming more difficult to get a good night of sleep (already I have started missing sleeping on my stomach).

Blowing kisses

Just snuggling on the couch. We got new dog beds from Costco (a great bargain by the way) and Brandon thought they were his personal play mats. I tried to get a picture of him jumping onto them but he was too quick!

Happy 31st Birthday

Happy 31st birthday to me. We had a busy weekend but it was nice to spend most of it with Brandon and Kevin. My boys took me out to dinner at the Steak Out, for a good steak dinner.
I can't believe how much I miss Brandon during the week. He does so well at daycare, I am usually the one lingering and not wanting to let go! He is quite attached to Ms. Catherine.
Brandon has expanded his vocabulary over the past couple weeks. He is now working on juice (which he uses for all beverages), eyes, all done, hi, bye,and doggie. He is able to sign when he wants more and is all done at meals. He has learned how to blow kisses from daycare, it's so cute.
He knows where his belly, nose, eyes, hair, and feet are. I have been working on talking about the baby in my belly, but Brandon justs lifts up his shirt to show me his belly!!! He knows his socks and shoes go on his feet and sometimes he gets so frustrated that he can't get his own shoes on. He is getting better at using a fork but has seemed to take less interest in meals these days...just too much else to do!
T-23 days until we have the ultrasound for baby #2!!!!

Another haircut

Kevin decided it was time for another haircut but this time we would do it with the clippers. Brandon did so well....he didn't cry, just sat there patiently. We cut off at least an inch of hair!!!!
He just loves the hose and fountain.
Getting a few minutes of vitamin D before nap time!
Couldn't resist giving him an old man comb-over. Actually this is how his hair naturally parts. Such a cute, big boy!!!!

Sleepy time

Brandon barely finished dinner before falling asleep at the table! He didn't even wake up for a diaper/outfit change, it must be nice to sleep for 13 hours straight....

Happy Easter

Brandon had so much fun easter weekend. I had to work but we spent Saturday evening with Grandma/Grandpa Thomas and Sunday evening with the Payne's. Thanks to both Grandma's for helping to watch Brandon while Kevin was studying! Brandon wasn't too interested in finding the eggs but he did a good job of opening them and finding the goodies.

Brandon liked to swing on Grandma Dudley's back porch. He also loved to roam the grassy common area and explore.

Just can't pass up the opportunity to play in the water, whatever form it comes in.

After a long day of play, there is no place better than napping on Daddy!
