It's Official...I'm a CNSC

I passed the CNSC (certified nutrition support clinician) exam!  This year the re-certification progress was a bit more stressful (first time having to study with little kiddos) but I passed and won't have to worry about it again for another five years!!!!  Added bonus, it fulfills my CEU's for this five period.

More yard work!

Mason was in heaven today....still LOVES tractors

Mason wanted to help Daddy.....

Painting his new birdhouse

We finished spreading the dirt in the backyard this weekend.  Kevin was so resourceful, using the tractor to spread the dirt as much as possible then using a piece of fencing (with some added weight) to grade the area!  It really made it easier (for me who was suppose to be using the rake to spread the dirt) and it was done in half the time.
Kevin even left a little pile of dirt under one of the mesquite trees in the backyard for the boys to play in.  The boy's do LOVE the dirt...
Brandon is becoming more inclined to sit and do art/craft projects with me, which I absolutely love.  I really love this time with the boys, we have so much fun doing things together.  I wish they didn't have to grow up, I want them to stay my little guys forever!

Happy Memorial Day

Nama convinced Brandon to leave the steps!!!

Telling Momma let them play

We rang in the summer by having BBQ at Nama and Grandpa Bill's house this holiday weekend.  The boys had a blast in the pool and Nama was even able to get Brandon to leave the safety of the steps to venture into the pool!  Great job Nama.....but I'm still not too sure why Brandon is so fearful about the pool.  Mason on the other hand practically flings himself into the pool.  He liked using his new water wings (thanks for the idea ATB).

Mother's Day 2013

Babblin' brook...ok, more like a trickle of a stream
This year we celebrated Mother's Day at Madera Canyon with the Payne side of the family.  It was a beautiful day with lots of people in the area.  The boys even got to see some "wild" turkey's (which are likely fed by the local bed and breakfast).  The boys (daddy included) built a dam and explored the stream and picnic area.  It was cute, earlier in the morning Mason was excited to see the "canyon" and by the end of the day he was "done with canyon".
"I'm the leader", just moments before he fell
