Wrestle Mania!!!!  The boys love to wrestle with each other.  Brandon usually is the winner, which doesn't seems to bother Mason, who loves a good wrestling match!

Daddy getting in on the action!

My boys!  I swear I did not pose them for this photo, they are like two peas in a pod when it comes to certain things...

Christmas Day-part 3

We finished celebrating Christmas day with Grandma Nama and Grandpa Bill!  The boys were on gift overload by the end of this day!

Christmas-part 2

Score!  a new matchbox car hauler!!!

He found his name on the his new shirt!

best gift ever face!

new books from Aunt Gail

yes, I do dress them alike any chance I get.  the beanies are a gift from GG Dudley!

We were fortunate to get to celebrate Christmas morning at our house with these beautiful women!  The boys were very excited to have the ability to stay home Christmas day and play with all of their new goodies and I had the day off of cooking thanks to the Honey Baked Ham store!

Christmas morning

Santa was here!!!

Daddy got him a pocket knife, just like big brother (when he turned five), now to practice being safe with it.

My budding scientist!
Merry Christmas!  The boys were up bright and EARLY, of course.  They were so excited to see Santa and the reindeer had come, and that they even nibbled on the treats we left out for them!  The boys were very happy with their gifts and could't wait to start playing with everything.
Kevin surprised me with an Elliptical so I could keep up with my exercise until I am cleared to start running again (by the surgeon).  He broke our agreement this holiday season, we agreed that selling our rental house was our gift to each other, but I won't hold it against him.  He is such a thoughtful Hubby (no really, I don't take any offense to being given the ability/encouragement to exercise)!  He knows I have been struggling with the restrictions the surgeon gave at my year follow up!

Vonderheide Christmas @ The Thome's

We celebrated Christmas Eve at the Thome's again this year.  Everyone was in attendance this year except Gram, as she hasn't been feeling well for a few months.
These get together's always make me nostalgic for my childhood.  I can remember being barely able to contain my excitement that the holiday was upon us.  We would always get together at Aunt Becky's house on Christmas Eve for a big Mexican dinner followed by opening presents.  I remember all the adults sitting around, having cocktails and chatting about life.  My memories include tables full of food, dessert trays full of cookies, fudge, my Gram's mexican wedding cookies, and bowls full of Christmas ribbon candy and Hersey's kisses.
I remember sneaking into my Aunt's front living room and feeling so small next to a huge Christmas tree with presents stacked all around, just wondering how much longer we would have to wait until we could unwrap our treasures!
Now, as a parent, I look at my kiddos (and nieces/nephews) and see the same awe in their eyes when they see at the food, decorations, and gifts.  I smile to myself when I hear the usual questions...."When can we open gifts?  Can we eat so we can open gifts?  How much longer?".
I hope our kids will look back fondly at this time of their life and remember these happy memories, surrounded by family, and realize how fortunate they are.
