Baby Payne #2

It's official, Kevin and I are pregnant with baby #2. Baby Payne is due to arrive on October 14, 2010 (our anniversary)!!!!! Hopefully I'll have a chance to upload the ultrasound pictures this weekend. It was so amazing to hear the heartbeat, it's such a miracle.
I am 12 weeks pregnant this week! The first trimester has just flown by without many difficulties, mostly just a lot of fatigue. I feel so lucky since I was so nauseated with Brandon. Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy is just as uneventful.
We have an ultrasound scheduled for the end of May and YES we are finding out the gender of this baby too! I just have to know. I think the baby is a girl, since I have felt so different this time. We'll find out in just 7 weeks!

Another Day at Sabino

We spent another morning at Sabino Canyon with the Thome family. It wasn't quite as nice as last weekend as it was really windy. We had lots of fun playing in the sand and being out of the house for part of the day.
We all can't wait for Kevin to take the PE exam (and pass) so we don't have to worry about scheduling him time to study on our days off together.

Day at Sabino Canyon

We hiked Sabino with the Brain, Kim, Chloe, and Ally today. It was super busy since it was so nice outside (despite the airshow and the the street fair going on). We stopped to let the kids play at one of the sandy beaches around one of the bridges. The water was freezing but that didn't stop Brandon from getting his feet wet.
It felt good to get out and exercise. It's amazing what pushing a stroller three miles into Sabino Canyon will do for you!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

My good luck charm! We didn't drink any green beer this year....
I can't believe this is his second St Patrick's day, boy does time fly by.

Weekend at Gandpa's

Brandon had his first experience with snow this weekend at my Dad's house. He wasn't quite sure what to think, especially trying to walk in it! My Dad got him new rain boots, a snow jacket, and gloves. Thanks dad.

Day #2 in the snow....a little more willing to explore.

Brandon is finally beyond the "oral" phase, he spent a lot of time outside exploring without putting everything into his mouth!!!. It's so nice to take him outside to play, which he absolutely loves. We had lots of fun at Grandpa's house, we can't wait to see Grandpa again.

Favorite places

Brandon loves all things "non-toy", he usually opts to play with household items verses all the toys scattered around the house! Go figure.

Jake has finally accepted Brandon as "one of his people". He is now more tolerant of Brandon man-handling him! Aren't they cute hanging out in one of Jake's favorite spots (Jake and Lilly loved to spend time under the grill when they were pups).

Tooth # 8

After months and months of no new teeth, Brandon is finally getting his 8th tooth!!!
Now he will have four on the bottom to match the four on the top. We'll see if I can get a picture of his "I'm crinkling my nose at you" smile.
He definitely isn't very fond of having his teeth brushed...we even had him watch us brush our teeth so he "can be a big boy" and hold his own tooth brush. Any suggestions???

No more bottles!!!

Brandon is now taking all fluids via a cup (sippy cup mostly), another victory for us!!! We should have weaned him from the bottle sooner, I am pretty sure he would have done just fine but it seems to have been our crutch. Now....just need to find a place to store them until the next baby!
