CDO Little League Closing Ceremonies!

The boys had another great season, we made new friends, learned more about baseball, and are looking forward to summer break!  Tonight was closing ceremonies and the boys came home, all smiles, with their trophies.  Brandon even found a twenty dollar at the ballpark!
Brandon's heart is not quite in the game and he is choosing to not play next season (hopefully he'll change his mind) but Mason is already excited for another season with Coach Daddy!

We are loving playing board games in the evening, Chutes 'n' Ladders is our current favorite!  The dogs love it, since we play on the floor, they get to snuggle right in!  These are the best nights!

This was the last game of our 2016 Little League season.  The boys did great this year and Kevin was an amazing coach (assistance Coach Dan was a tremendous help as well).  Mason really seems to love baseball and seems excited to play again next year however Brandon's heart is not with the game so he may not play again.....we will see!
A big thank you to all who came out to watch and support the boys in their sports endeavors!  We/they loved having you come and watch.  

St Mark's end of year program

How sweet is this face???  Today was Mason's last day at St Mark's and he had a blast at his end of year program.  He has spent the last few years making new friends in child care and learning in the preschool setting.  He is sooo excited to move onto the elementary school where Brandon is, he is "VERY excited to not have to nap anymore and ride the bus"!

Mason did great with Mrs Pegnam's 4's class this year, he is more than ready for kinder!  He will definitely miss the friends he has made and we will miss our childcare and preschool teachers.

Mason ended his childcare days with Ms Carmen as his afternoon teacher.  She has been fabulous, exposing the afternoon kids to science, rocks, and nature!  She will be misses as well as Ms Virginia and Ms Teri, of course.

The boys love going down to visit "The Grassy-hills Grandma"!  Yep, the boys are so fortunate to have so many "grandma's and great-grandma's that we have to give special names to them all!  It is always a good time visiting with the Payne family in Green Valley, just missing Peggy and the girls this time!
